The children started the morning by gathering their ideas about the Anglo Saxons and Beowulf and made this into a Gobo design.

The children added coloured vinyl to the back to match the theme of their designs. Children also had the opportunity to make a song about Beowulf with a musician.

After lunch the children then had the opportunity to turn their Gobo designs into set design on the stage. Children organised shapes and created a freeze frame of their set and added sound effects to add to the mood.

The children then finished the day with costume design, they were able to create costumes based on their characters. The children learnt all about how costumes would match the mood and status of the character.
