Year 1 enjoyed a visit to Heath Farm where they met Farmer Paul, who they watched feed the cows and calves. 

They then visited the milking parlour to see where the cows are milked and walked over to the fields where the cows' food is grown. 

Before lunch, the children got the chance to feed the cows. Then, before heading back to school, they made their own butter! 

It was a fantastic day and the children learnt so much.
