The People's Parade

Pupils and staff took part in the People's Parade in celebration of Stoke On Trent's 100th birthday.

On Saturday 7th June 38 Children and 7 members of staff took part in the 1.5 mile long “People’s Parade” in celebration of Stoke on Trent turning 100.  There were over 1000 people taking part in the parade and our school was part of the “Blooming Longton” section. We dressed as sunflowers, forget me nots, flower queens and blooming buds.

Even though the weather wasn’t on our side, the children and staff still smiled all the way round and had a fantastic time.

Thank you to Urban Wilderness for supplying and making the beautiful costumes, it is always a pleasure to be involved in your fantastic work.
