GoIT Digital innovation competition

Another fantastic achievement and a big well done to all the pupils!

We have some very exciting news to share! Agroup of our Year 6 pupils travelled to Angel Square in Manchester with Mrs Miah for the GoIT Digital innovation competition.

Pupils had to design an innovative app and present to a group of adults. They chose an app for recycling clothes linked to their DT topic and work on World War 2. They were then answered challenging questions about their app.

I am pleased to say that out of ten Co-op schools, our lovely Year 6 won the competition! Mrs Miah said they were incredible - a confident and enthusiastic presentation.

This is the second year in a row that our Year 6 pupils have won the competition and brought home with them another certificate and trophy. They will now go through to the international finals and compete virtually with schools from all over the world!
