Year 5 Space Camp

Year 5 had a stargazing time at Space Camp.

The children kicked off the day with some astronaut training in the hall, where they tackled a fun obstacle course.
Next, they put up their tents and dove into exciting activities like creating constellation artwork, building rockets, and exploring the different phases of the moon using Oreos.
As night fell, the children enjoyed dinner under a sky filled with twinkling stars, all snug in their tents.
After their meal, they took turns using telescopes for some star gazing, and then they crafted pocket-sized models of the solar system.
To wrap up their space-themed night, the children listened to a captivating story while lying back and stargazing.
